SILVER YACHTS is a builder of custom, high performance aluminium vessels. We work hand in hand with the world-renowned naval architect and designer, Espen Øino, and offer our clients complete boat building services from the initial design sketches to construction and delivery. We take a very straightforward approach to buildings boats, committing ourselves to traditional values of craftsmanship, proven technologies and the finest equipment and fittings. We take pride in being a pioneer among our peers in Asia in the application of European yacht building standards, from our production process design, 3D modeling, engineering, hull and superstructure fabrication, fit-out to final sea trials.
World-renowned naval architect and designer Espen Øino has played an instrumental role in the realisation of the Silver fleet. Known for his award winning designs, he is one of the superyacht industry's visionaries, and his partnership with the forward-thinking SILVER YACHTS team is a perfect fit. Norwegian-born Øino has worked with SILVER YACHTS since operations commenced in May 2003, and helped create the unique designs for which SILVER YACHTS is now so widely known.
• Located in Western Australia. • Built in 2005, the site covers over 6,000 sqm and houses the modern facilities needed to create the worlds finest yachts. • 2,000 sqm dedicated furniture manufacturing facility.
• Located in Jiangmen, China. • Covers over 33,000 sqm and is home to three building halls and with almost 200 meters shoreline. • Equipment and site layout to meet the requirements for the construction of yachts up to 100 meters.
ROD DAVIES – Chief Operating Officer of SILVER YACHTS Jiangmen shipyard, with experience of over 35 years in shipbuilding and luxury yacht industries. He possesses abundant career experiences in Australia, United Kingdom, America and Singapore, and instilled extensive skills and knowledge in all aspects of vessel design and manufacture, shipyard management and overall operations. Joining SILVER YACHTS in 2018, Mr. Davies brings to the company strong capabilities in aluminium yacht design & construction. He has laid a solid foundation for Jiangmen shipyard's future development with his advanced operation philosophy and management experience.
